BOTOX® is a is a medication that is injected into the skin to decrease the animation of facial muscles. This decreases the depth of existing wrinkles and can delay the natural aging process.

It is commonly used to treat wrinkles in the forehead, glabella, and crowsfeet. The effects BOTOX® usually last anywhere from 2-4 months. BOTOX® can be safely re-injected once the animation returns.

It is recommended for use by individuals 18-65 years of age.

Common side effects include localized redness at injection site, headache, and the possibility of eyelid ptosis.
